I'm running a tutorial website on a certain niche and currently I'm getting very targeted traffic around 500-700 unique views per day.

I've been contacted a person who want's to advertise on my website.

How much should I charge him based on the traffic I'm getting?

Before did you put adsense? What was the CTR? And please tell us more mate, advertising space depends on the banner size, where it is place, on every page on that position?.

Hi, I haven't tried Adsense so I don't have a clue about the CTR...

But the banner size would be the 300 x 250 and the placement is going to be on the right sidebar and it's going to be shown on every page.

Is there any other way's to measure the CTR then testing with Adsense?

Using Adsense will give you a baseline - what you can earn on the blog.

The epc gives you an idea of what others will pay for a visitor from your site. Volume x CTR for the position and number of impressions gives you an idea of what you should be asking for your rental price.

To test you could use a script to display a relevant banner in that position and measure CTR.
