How much to charge for reviewing copyright?

Got an email this morning from a potential FUTURE client that wants me to review the content he is going to post on a site not yet built. He emailed me the text in 15 word documents. All he wants me to do is review it for "SEO worthiness" what do you guys charge? What is the going rate?

BTW the niche is weight loss and injectable vitamins etc.. SO I would have to do a bit of KW research etc...

For something like this I would charge by the hour of whatever you feel your going rate is.

For instance I won't work for under 25$ an hour. (and soon to be increasing as my business gets more off the ground!)

Everyone rates will be different depending on experience / location / current workload / type of job / etc.

So I would suggest you look over the documents and give the client an estimate on how long it would take you and how much you would be charging him by the hour and see if he is comfortable with that! :shrug:

Thanks for the suggestion. While reviewing the documents I noticed much of the language was speciic product related so I will have to do som research regardin each product and the general kw that would fit best. Could be quite cumbersome. Any other suggestions?

I think in this case you should quote an hourly rate and give an estimate of time needed. Also briefly mention what you will be doing for that money (even though it seems obvious, telling them will build the value for the rate you quote).
