How much to charge for Ad & Coupon Campaigns?

Hello Everyone. I need input from offliners who are experienced in handling a client's Ads and Coupons Campaigns. Specifically, advertising in yelp, creating deals on 4square, group on, living social, etc.

Was wondering if you have any experience in doing this or have any advice. Should I charge a setup fee to create the accounts and campaigns, then a monthly fee to keep check if things are running right

I haven't created any campaigns just yet, I'm in the process of writing up an online marketing plan for a dentist and need to know how to quote her. She's on the westcoast of USA, so it would need to be competitive prices for that area.

Any help is appreciated! Also feel free to talk about your experiences with these services like if they brought in leads to your clients, was it worth the ROI in the client's eyes? I found very little discussion about this on BHW.

Pricing is always difficult unless you establish a set hourly rate that you will be happy working for. Once you do that you can just estimate (and always add a few extra hours) the time it will take you and multiply by that, it also help to show the client - break each task down by hours so they know exactly what they are getting. NEVER charge less than what you want in order to land a client unless there is some sort of future payoff. I'm on the westocast and charge $50 an hour depending on the specific job and will charge more if it's something I don't want to do.

One thing I have learned from dealing with different professionals is that you can usually get away with charging close to what their hourly rate is - I think that's because it's a number they are used to dealing with. Remember - you are providing a service that they need, will make the money from and they cannot do themselves.
