I just recieved a mail asking me how much it would cost for a link on my site.

I know the price will ofcourse differ a lot on the niche/pr/..., but what is the average price for a

    dutch site,
    +-0.8Euro CPC,
    2000 monthly searches,
    7th on first page.

This person doesn't seem to know a lot about SEO, She got a more "general" site of the niche.
I still don't know if I should, or build up first. But maybe, if the price is nice I can buy some seo tools to rank better.

Depends, is she looking for traffic or link juice?

For link juice, we'd need to know more stuff like Page rank, Domain Authority, Moz rank, etc.

For traffic, I would charge a percentage of what you make monthly from the site.

I assume link juice as my traffic isn't very high.

The site is low on everything you summed up because it's only up for a bit more than a month.
But because she wants permanent, and atm my site is low on everything i'm afraid she won't pay very much.
Also with permanent links there is the problem with you suddenly ranking 1 and you still got this one crappy link on your site.

Think that's indeed better. Will see what she says once hotmail starts working again.
The last mail she send me, she suddenly said she could link from a PR3 sites in same niche. So might check that out first :)

I would say offer her $7/ month or $60 for the year.

Most permanent blog post services in the "Services For Sale" section charge around $50-$80 for 10 posts from higher authority sites.

The fact that she found you means she has an idea. I would make her make you an offer 1st. Some people ask questions just because they want to know, not because they want to buy.

Ok, so I just "traded" links, she links from another site. The only thing i'm wondering is, she got some overlay that prevents me from right clicking on the page. I checked source (with saving page) and it does got my link. But will this still count as a valid link because of the overlay? (I can link in PM if needed)

Do a view source from the browser menu (can't be blocked) and check if your link is there and isn't nofollow.

I did that, seems to be ********. So I guess i'm fine.

I now made a seperate page for links and might search for more link partners. The question is, how bad is it to have this sort of page? I won't add hundred of links, but it can be a few with almost no content.
