How much time & money is needed to outrank this site?
It seems like an Authority Website to me.
It's travel site
But just out of curiosity, is it possible to outrank this site in two years.. ?
it depends on the quality of website you want to rank. you will need at least 6-7 months and good 4 figure budget
Only 352 referring domains, looks a little suspicious =/
Wow It will take a lot of time to out rank this site look at all of the ******** backlinks it has compared to its nofollow backlinks.
with 352 referring domains I think it's very possible for you to outrank them. Just treat every link like a newborn baby and make sure it only gets the best. It also depends how old that site is, though. It has a decent link profile but you can mirror that within 2 years for sure with the right budget and brains.
anywhere between 15-20 days! It's a churn and burn kind of site.
So it'll be a cake walk
My situation: My father has offline house building company. But now he's thinking to sold his company and start something new. And he is thinking about travel business. Since he is very good at offline stuff and know nothing about seo and all that, he wants me to take care online stuff.. He said he can invest in website just $10k - $20k. So is it enough? and is it even worth it to start this kind of business or I should stop him?
maybe they have the same site for different languages and link everything back to the main one
Focus on pages for longer tails, invest in advertising, and brand awareness?
I don't know about you, but when me and my gf were booking holidays, we went direct to websites and searched, rather than using google. Might be something to think about ^^
What tool is this your using for checking the BL and site stats ?
That's a lot of links but it won't take super long with the right budget. Like others mentioned, it has 48k backlinks but only 352 referring domains. He also has a pretty high rate of drop off, lots of sitewide links.
You'll just have to outbudget him if that's the case. Or find a way to get links that are higher quality than his and try to beat him at on-page. It will definitely take a bit of time though, at least if you plan on staying in the lead after you take it over.
