How Much Time To Reach Top 10 for Low-Comp KW?

Hi,

I know it's depending of a lot a factors, so I'm gonna take one particular case:

Let's say you have a 2yo website / 5k visits per month and targeting a main KW with volume = 1000, KD on Semrush = 20

  • How many weeks do you give to this article to reach top 10?
  • What will you do with this article after x weeks if you're still page 2/3 and believe your content worth top 3 for this KW?

Depends on how good your article is. It took me 5 days to hit the number 9 spot for an article. I'm hoping to buy backlinks soon.

A site with authority will take anywhere from 3 hours, like income school experimented on YouTube.

How much time would it take for one to start making $2k per month?


I don't think anybody has answers to this question.

What I would do is, look at sites on page 1 and consider the improvements I could do on my site to make it match up with those on page 1. I would also link to this specific page I'm trying to push from other pages that are ranking on my site.
 
a case study of mine, a brand new domain, new website, took 2-3 weeks to rank a a relatively low kw
 
I would give it two weeks and then reevaluate whether to push the button further
 
You should try. Sometimes it takes 5 days, sometimes 3 weeks. A lot of factors should be taken into account!

Wow, launched a lot of websites recently, and it was always 2/3 months for top 10 and 1/2 months more for top 1/2/3

Actually, it's because I created 10 articles 4 weeks ago, and I'm totally disappointed with the results.

There is maximum 1/2 good articles per KW, and my articles who are good/very good are top 30 minimum.
 
No one knows. Assuming you're in a micro-niche, 2-3 months is optimistic
 
There’s no exact formula other than to wait and keep furnishing your site with good contents, that should push your DA slowly ergo increasing your fighting chance with the competition

No one can say the time but at least 1 week. Still, It depends on Article Quality & your competitor's progress.

Not a fixed time as It depends on Article Quality and many other factors.
