How much time a competitive keyword takes to rank on a 11month old blog? The website has no backlinks, but have currently 100 plus low comeptition/underserved articles.
Around one month has passed. I was thinking to write best x fot y content on three different high volume competitive topics. All are indexed but they are still not in top 100

This is too broad of a question.

First and foremost is the niche of your blog.

I'm sorry to report but some niches are so competitive that it takes up to 2–3 years for any newcomers to rank for competitive keywords in that space.

Also, another variable that people need to keep in mind is how many "hooks" they have in the water.

That's a fishing analog for how many posts your website has.

Because if your website has 200–300 highly targeted articles, that's one thing.

But if your website only has 20–50 posts, that's another matter entirely.

Do you see how this works?

Another factor is how well you interlink your posts because a lot of people just publish and forget.

They don't interlink.

They don't use categories so it's more of a crapshoot.

Finally, what about the quality of the posts?

Do you actually target the search intent behind the keywords that each post focuses on?

Or, are you just doing what your competitors are doing?

Are you offering anything different?

Is your stuff more comprehensive?

Is it up-to-date?

Is it easy to scan?

Is it engaging?

These are the types of questions that go a long way in determining whether each and every post you have can give you a leg up in the competition for your target keywords.

I think, it purely depends on the content. Since the bots have become smarter. This means their ability to judge the quality of the content has strengthened. I remember a real case, where I was part of the project team to work on a longer content for https://thinkpalm.com/technologies/artificial-inteligence/ keyword. The content was 2000 words long blog. In the beginning, we were nowhere near 100th rank. But after 4 months, we were able to rank for the keyword. The strategy included building backlink, running paid promotions on social media channels etc.

What type of links did you built?

It's all depends on what kind of niche under you created the blog
