I dont mean to offend anyone but just this thought stuck my mind.
I am 24 right now and in IM for almost 4 years.
and I think I can not stick to one thing for a long time and that is the only problem which is holding me back from earning alot of money.
I know I have ideas and I know how to implement them.
My parents are behind me to take a job atleast as they are worried that I will not be able to feed my family later if I keep on sitting at home infront of computer.
So just wanted to know that there are people who are in IM full time right?
And how much VIPs and JR VIPs earn?
I hope I will reach the mark.

It's not about what others earn, it's about you.

If you've been in IM full time for 4 years and aren't making a decent income, then it's really not for you. No offence.

If you not earning enough to at least assure your parents that you can earn online, I would suggest you to make 5 wordpress blogs, all in different niches and post at least 1 unique article on each one of it till you reach at least 500 posts on each. This may seem to not be a get rich quick scheme but Websites make Internet and thats where you find your self online.

I am sure in 4 years you would have learnt enough to feed your sites with content and Income will come.

But if you will keep finding ways to spam twitter, Facebook Pinterest etc and keep looking for that one idea that will change your bank balance overnight then it has not happened to anybody even those who earn more than a couple of thousands each day.

4 years is too long to have no results. Move on. You might find an occupation out there that you excel at.

You shouldn't be looking at status as a measure of income.
That notion alone is severely detrimental to your marketing acumen.

4 years in IM, and still wondering how to make money to cover your family?

Like Thomas said - no offence dude but get a job. IM is not for you.

It's best to worry about how much money is in your wallet at the end of the day instead of what others earn. Such distractions really reduce productivity when you could instead be focusing on you.

I disagree with the last part of what you said.

For several years, I barely made any money on the Internet, but I gained a lot of knowledge about what works and what does not.

Now, I consult other business owners as well as rank my websites in the #1 position on Google very easily and make good income.

It is about knowledge + applied action + money = LOTS of Money!

Without proper knowledge, which takes real time out of your life, you could not make a lot of money in the long run on the Internet because it is constantly changing.

For example, keyword stuffing use to work many years ago, but if someone does that now, they would be deindexed.

What made me "stay in the game" and not quit was the fact that even though I barely made money, I liked the idea of running my own business much more than working in an office cubicle like 90% of people who have jobs. This motivation helped me to endure the lack of money and succeed.

7-Up took 7 tries before it became successful; it was first called 1-Up and failed, 2-Up and failed, 3-Up and failed...until it became 7-UP and succeeded. It took the guy 7 tries and lots of money and resources before he made it.

The Lesson is to not give up if it is what you really desire, which is to have your own business and be free from financial strain.

Everyone grows and blossoms at a different rate, truth be told iv seen some people jump in IM and start making money right away and iv seen some people take 5 years + it comes down to how u process knowledge and execute a idea also how much time your willing to dedicate to the actual idea of IMing. You can't put a time on those type of things.

The only thing you can do is keep pushing and moving forward if your really strong minded about IMing it will eventually happen for you but it won't come from doing nothing u have to push push push forward and push some more.

You got to be a realist. The eureka moment do happen, but it happens to one in a million, who all of a sudden comes up with a brilliant idea and make a good amount of money. If you hope to succeed like that, don't worry there is a probability of you succeeding but the probability is one in a million.

Why do you want to worry about what others earn.. will it motivate you? if so there are millions of sales pages on get rick quick programs. Forget what others earn, it will not help you.. instead focus on what you are doing.

I agree that you should stick in the game if you are REALLY committed. It also took me a while to start making money, so I'm in the same boat there. 4 years is a long time though, especially if he's been full-time.

It's not quite the same as a company like 7-up. They had a product and were trying to big. Things like that can take time. IM has very low barriers to entry (unlike the beverage market) so in 4 years you really should see SOME results.

But from his OP, I didn't get that impression at all, hence my advice to him. Asking a bunch of strangers on a forum how much they earn isn't really screaming to me that he is determined to make it in IM himself.
