Im experimenting with local seo and wondering if a dollar host will be sufficient?

How much disc space and bandwidth is typically required for a small 10 page site targeting local traffic? I know theres no set in stone answer but is something like 2GB disk storage, 50GB bandwidth going to cause any SERP ranking or traffic issues for a local business?

If you only serving kilobytes worth a data such as content with a few pictures, the specs you stated above should serve your purpose.

The only issue I have had with cheap hosting packages is the server load time and your most likely on a shared IP. Depending on what other sites are on the same server you might have more downtime then on a Dedicated server which might affect your SEO

Try it out and see what happens :)

Im not worried about downtime or load times much at all. Like you said its going to just be pictures and text, no video or any other jazz.

Im simply worried if such a cheap host might cause the site to rank worse? Not sure if its actually been confirmed if page speed causes rank issues, but that is my concern. Along with if 1000 visitors a month would cause any issues with those specs.
