    Hi guys,

So the versatile Panoush has picked up some great jobs recently. My most recent one that I have been accepted for as an editor for a writing agency that is based in Philippines or somewhere with less than optimum english.

My job is to proof read and edit the articles that come back, and then release payment if the writer did well..

I need to provide my quote per 500 words of editing, but have never had a job like this, so I am unsure.. any suggestions would be very much appreciated as I can be quite mean towards myself, selling my self short..

Thanks for any help, BHW, your all I have!

When in doubt, hourly rates always work well for me. How long do you think it would take to review 500 words?

Shoot for about 15-25 per 500 words. I pay my proofreader about that.

I don't think Philippians will give you $5+ for a 500 word article. As I experienced their workers agree to work on very cheap rates.
