I've never sold backlinks before on this site, but I have a lot of emails of people and companies interested in purchasing a backlink on my site.

Some are just software companies/apps, others are just seo agencies that want to buy backlink for their clients.

About my site:

- My blog is about technology
- I have stable: 500,000 organicviews per month
- Site age is 2 years and 6 months
- Total posts published: 360
- My traffic is very well distributed among many posts
- Very low external links.. I only placed links to wikipedia, or main page if I ever mentioned a service/website.
- Never sold a post before.
- Website is in 2 languages.

Since all my external links are pointing to trusted sites and I never sold before + I have growing traffic, I guess it should be more valuable. I will not share DR since I don't think its too important, many people is being fooled when buying high DR or DA of dead sites.

Which price should I charge?

I don't want to sell many links to my site... Maybe 4 per month max... If it's worth it, since I am earning from adsense.

I have seen people rely upon metrics like DA and DR a lot when they buy links from your site. Of course all other metrics that you mentioned are important as well. They are impressive, I must say.

Why not share your sites DA and DR here? You will get more accurate price suggestions from people in BHW with that.

Wow....That's interesting!

If your estimation is correct, the OP can earn anywhere between $1200 to 2000 / month easily by selling 4 links a month. :D

I would like to see what other people estimate for this.

Well it's hard to say without knowing the site but that's about what I'd pay if it fits my niche. Prepare for them asking for a discount so better start with a higher offer

As you are not much intereted in giving OB , you can charge high so only genuine high quality sites will place order on your site.
and you will get some extra money and OB links will be less. (if big brands approaching then you can charge 200-400$ per post easily)

and if you are not care about OB links now and want to make good money, then price should be around 100$ and you will get post boom.

just my 2 cent.

It's not worth it. Most of them seos are from Indian subcontinent. They use american/uk names and email. They want free back links.
If you say no, they will offer you link exchange.

Very low external links.. I
You mean outgoing links.

In my opinion, you shouldn't charge less than $150.

But don't turn your site into a link farm so you don't kill its potential because of a few hundred $$.

With that much organic traffic I wouldn't go less than $250 per guest post and $200 per link insert. My advice is to never bargain and avoid people who do so, they aren't worth your time.

@snacky3 If you have a good site, don't sell guest posts on it. For two reasons:

1. If you ever want to sell the site, you can get a 35 - 40x multiple easily for a GOOD site, that is not built using a content mill and garbage buying guides that just rephrase the product description. If you have good content you'll get a good multiple BUT if you sell guest posts that multiple is going to go down to 20 - 25x. It's a shitty way to make money and it will eventually ruin your site.

2. Google has a penalty for outgoing links. If you start pimping out your site and sell guest posts, you can get an outgoing link penalty. If you absolutely have to do this, make sure the content is written in a way that it makes sense to link out to the other site. Don't just add random posts and start selling links, always use random or brand anchors, don't sell keyword anchor targeted posts. You should treat your guest posts like any other content on your site. A big issue with these sponsored posts is that they don't bring in any traffic. Research keywords even for your guest posts, and use them to drive traffic to your site. place ads/affiliate offers etc. The purpose of the post should not be to link out to another site, treat the link as secondary and the content + monetization as primary.

Good luck!

The average price what I have seen until now for backlinks is around 300-500 Dollar for a good website. Some pages with very high traffic want 2000 Dollar or more. I think in that range you sell links. Maybe you can begin with low price and increase step by step.

I understand why you don't want to share the DA of your website as there are many other more important factors, but your website's DA is also going to contribute to the price people are willing to pay for links from you (just saying).

As I am in the backlink industry, I feel you could get at least $700 for a link from your site, and I would recommend pricing it at that then adjusting based on the number of inquiries you get.

Hope this helps!

You can sell it minimum $200. But you should tell everyone with double your price like $400 to $500 ;) ;) ;) In my experience most of them will bargain with you lol.
