How much should I charge for advertising?

Basically I have an authority site, and we have recently started to get offers from people that are looking to advertise on our page.
I have nothing on my site at the moment as far as monitization goes so I am definitely interested in this.
There is a perfect spot on my site for a 300x250 advertisement to be placed.
The problem is my site is fairly new and it's growing with my niche community. At the moment I get a few hundred views every week, but sometimes it spikes to over 1thousand.

People are asking me how much to advertise on my site and I have absolutely no clue how much to charge.
All I know is fuck adsense.

Insight would be appreciated

what your niche? also can you upload some analytic proof ? on some of my site's hat gets more than 8k traffic per day I charge per click it would normally be like 0.10 per click or 0.12 per click.
