my friend would be starting a blog network with 50 PR2 blogs.

he is asking me how much he should charge a client who wants to post articles for 50 PR2 blogs. these are blogs that are distributed over several IP addresses.

he is thinking monthly subscription because the outbound links will be limited to 80 only.

    Well,

I think he should choose between limiting the total number and doing sitewide links for a monthly fee or doing a blog post for a one off fee; seems his game plan is somewhere in the middle.

Also you say they are over many IPs... How many different class c ips are we talking because that will greatly affect interest from a lot of people (and thus the price point).

he is thinking like 1 link 1 keyword per post only so that the OBL could be limited to 80. would that be OK since most blog article posting service allows 3 keywords 3 links per post.

50 different C-Class IP, 10 different hosting accounts, 50 different wordpress themes, multiple locations.

when you say sitewide links? do you mean those blogroll links located on the sidebar? how much should be the monthly cost for them ?

Don't do blogroll links, they're not a good idea.
I think he was just confused, and wasn't sure if you meant homepage links. You said blog posts, so he assumed they would leave the front page.
So 50 PR2 homepage links, I'd say about $20 per month. But I wouldn't personally pay for that, as those PRs are way too low.

what my friends is trying to is configure wordpress to show 80 post on the homepage so that all those 80 subscribers will appear on the homepage.

once those 80 subscribers are filled, there would be no additional post so that they would never leave the homepage.

This is probably a pretty bad idea for subscribers.
Paid homepage links are getting slammed hard by google (after a few of them)
In the 9 niches I currently operate in, in the past 2 months I've watched no fewer than 15 websites rise to the top 5 after at least $1000 in paid links only to be crushed inside the month back to #50-#60

Generally blogposts and a few sporadic homepage links are best.
Each person would have a link to their blogpost they could then SEO the pants off of if they liked.
    That's the general idea.
Others may disagree, but I've seen these paid homepage links ruin million dollar businesses recently.

so you are suggesting 1 time fee for every blog on the 50 PR2 blogs right?.

Generally this is how it's done for posts ($1-2/post)
Blogrolls sell for about $3-4/each/mth for PR2... so in this case you could offer both
Just realize the blogroll links are probably going to harm the people that pay for them, though that's their problem.

1 time fee will not be a good idea. you can sell from $13- $20/month..be very careful while choosing hosting. get as many hosts as you can.try not to go with cheap seo hosts , all your sites will be zapped along with others. and keep mixture of dedicated ip's and shared ips.

ok. i will advice my friend. but it seems that he used both VPS and Shared Hosting Accounts on different countries. some are in Asia, Europe and US.

i already opened another thread about how much should be the pricing on 100 PR1 blog homepage blogpost and it seems that the pricing range for 50 PR2 is almost the same as 100 PR1 as suggested by BHW members.

he will surely open his services here so i will also advice him to reserve at least 3 or 4 review copies so that it can be approved right ?
