Hey guys I would like to know is there really money to be made by putting google ads on your website? I mean average how much a month would you expect on an average site? 4k hits a day web site

yes there really is money to be made.
As to how much for a 4k site, it depends on so many things such as niche, quality of traffic, CTR and how much each click is worth - is a a 5 cent click or a $1 keyword that is is impossible to tell ya.
