I am pretty new to the board. I am more like a troll scanning posts and sometimes posting questions for my own self betterment. Keeping true to my form let me get this off my chest

I know that their is real talent on this site. I know some of you have logged 60-70 hours a week for years setting up your own networks of sites for the sole intentions of creating revenue through ad sense, what have you. I also know that in your seo travels you have battled competitors in your niche and learned the grass roots skill set that allowed you to over come them and rank number 1 in the serps. I'm talking advanced practices here, not seo 101 principles

Its this type of person that I am channeling in case you are reading this boring message.

How much money per week would it cost to get this persons services retained?

For the sake of argument, I would be willing to gamble and pay one hell of a fee all because I'm sick and tired of dealing with half rate SEO'S.

I am a game player by trade, I love the competition involved in the marketing game as well. I want to blow my competitors out of the water. My niche is not even a tuff one, that's the humorous part.

If I got anyones attention pm me. I am looking for the best working only

That tends to only work well inhouse. Remote/contract get screwed easily.

you should find someone with portfolios. or hire a local SEO guy so that you can easily come back at him or his team if he doesn't deliver results.

usually a proper SEO service would include changing your site for proper setup for SEO. example is changing the meta tags and etch.

The hardest thing is to do is to hire or manage great people but the most difficult thing is to find them.

IMO no best SEO here will offer their services. Primarily on the point that they will just do themselves on their sites and allow them to earn more. And ultimately, I don't think they will share their secrets at all.

There is no fix price... It all depends upon niche and your expectations... But good seo people will cost you good.

Paranoid there are several big companies in IM and you can search them... Some are doing SEO for big companies like ebay.... So you suggesting they should left doing seo for others and start their own auction site... Man a person should do what he do best... You can't do every thing on your own... If every designer, writer, coder will start work for their own then where will we go... LOL

Im not wanting to deal with an SEO company honestly. I want the guy that manages his own sites and makes a living that way. The guy that is a "guru" knows how to vaporize competition with methodology that you wont be reading about in SEO 101 books or from M. Cutts.

This is a challenge to me, I want to win....period

I share a lot of secrets...its a moving target so SEO wisdom goes stale quickly. Old SEO advice is almost always wrong. In spirit you are right though... good ones who help their clients above all else are rare and well paid. I produce the company I work for many millions of dollars per year and it amounts to tens of millions of dollars over the 5 years I've been with them. I get paid very very very well because the last thing they want is for me to get poached by a competitor. At some point though they will have to make me a partner in the company or eventually lose me to a competitor who will, but I'm not holding them hostage or anything... just realistic about my direction in life and what events will probably occur in the next few years.

There are a lot of different ways to succeed... personally though... I envy the folks that work for themselves... I miss it. The day job still feels like selling out, but hey, I've got a wife and kid to think of too. ;)

Im still searching for the right talent. Many people on here that have contacted me have provided sound advice. I am also noticing that many are just to busy with their own work to take on another job.

Still searching for a guru similar to www blue hat seo dot com

The guru that can make things happen

While this may be a bit skewed because I work at an agency, but our rate is $200/hour, so I wouldn't be surprised if some of these 'guru's charge similar rates. Good talent is expensive.

If the guy has talent, he's probably raking in a hundred grand a month. There is NO reason I see that someone would help you out for this unless you make it really worth their time.
I know people who charge about $1k an hour just for consultation!
