I've been offered this service as a one-off rather than monthly SEO and would like to know how much people that know about SEO think it's worth approximately..
(P.S this is for a blog that upload about 3-5 weekly posts)

? Rewrite meta page title and descriptions
    ? Image optimisation
? Optimisation of on page text and content
    ? Internal link optimisation
    ? Optimisation of robot.txt
? Website coding and structure assesment and optimisation

That's onsite optimization and if it's not needed, it won't do much. It also won't do much if you don't have any offsite SEO. The price would be entirely relative to the size of your site for most of those items...

LOL! U guys are serious? :)) that's crazy amounts of money, and let's face it...with no off-site seo it doesn't do much. OP, depends on the site. How many pages are we talking here? What's the extent of coding required?

Put it this way, I charge an hourly rate to my clients and for the first point alone on around 35 pages (plus some off-site SEO) I've charged $240 so far.

It's worth not a lot at all really, won't make masses of difference and isn't stuff you couldn't learn yourself fairly easily. Worth less than $100.

Yeah but the business owners are not aware of this, so use this little piece of information to your favor ;)

It makes a difference, but you may be better off putting your money elsewhere.

If they are putting together a comprehensive plan, including deciding on different keywords and long-tails to rank each individual page for, then looking keyword density and making sure pages aren't over-optimised - that's a bit of work.

I am not sure the value of that service would be able to be paid in money.

100 quid is not that bad if it saves you a couple hours of work, but I'm certain you'll be getting a lot of PMs from people who can do this for $20.

If anyone can do this for a price that's a lot lower then I'd be happy to use their service

Just my thought, sine many members suggest that "this is not cost nothing" "outsource it for 20$"etc.
According my opinion there are two separate parts in this job a) the technical (coding, editing) and b) the material it self (text for descriptions, titles, image alt tags etc.)
You can easily learn to do the first (technical) and it is also possible to outsource it for a few $ but what about the material? There is a big difference in the text a good experienced English speaking copywriter can produce and what a person who can't even speak English!
If you're looking for a complete solution then i think you have to make a careful selection according the material and not the coding. If the company can offer you high quality text material then go for it since you can always re-do the code very easily in the future.
