In India how much tax we want to pay if we make money from Youtube?

Someone said we have to pay tax only if we make more than 5 lakhs INR in an year and tax will be automatically deducted. is that the case ?

If taxes were automatically deducted there wouldn't be a need for accountants. You need to file taxes on your own. And yes, the threshold is 5Lac/year at the moment.

i was thinking the same. May be he meant the bank will automatically send the email to Government when i reach this threshold.
