How much is my movie site worth ($2,400/month revenue?)

My site has the following stats

    4 months old
    30,000 UV's/Month
    70,000 Page Views/month
I earn around $2,400/month from content locking (it is a movie site)
So what could I get for it? Is it worth keeping or selling?

    Thanks!

It just started bringing in $2400/month. I am thinking about selling it... But depends on the price.

You can usually sell for 10 x monthly revenue i think. Best look up meathead1234 if your interested in selling.

Make sure it has no copyright content though!

Why do you want to sell it? Do you think it's worth selling it?Ask yourself these questions first. Besides, $2400/month is pretty good indeed, I'd personally go with keeping it and scaling your revenue up. Or you could give it to me for free, HAH.

If your website gots 99% of youtube traffic it's better to keep to yourself. Once your YT accounts are banned (it can happen anytime), website is worthless. Also Movie niche seems to be under-priced then the original websites

No way that somebody would pay you more than 3000-4000 $ for that, not because it's not worth of it, but because your traffic comes from Youtube and it's unpredictable, so i highly recommend you to keep it for your self and try to upload even more videos. For 3 - 4 months you will be sorry because you sold it.

Also it depends on which Content Locker you are using. PM me for more info about selling your site, I had something similar in the past I sold it for.

Read the sticky at the top of this forum would be a good place to start.

Like others have mentioned, it really depends on where you're getting the traffic. Are you getting the traffic from Youtube or is it coming from other places?

Legit websites usually sell for 10-14 months worth of earnings, however a site like this definitely won't be able to fetch that much. Based on the type of site, I would probably recommend to just keep it for yourself.

I would say keep your site and enjoy that nice chunk of revenue. Selling can get you a quick $20,000 maybe, but if you're patient you can make more than that.

It depends on where the traffic comes. If you use youtube and such, site isn't worth too much and I'd either sell it or if you can keep up with the marketing then keep it to yourself. If you are getting traffic from search engines then you can sell it for 5-10x monthly revenue easily. But, youtube traffic sites aren't steady and aren't valuable.

you'd have to find a buy and if it's copyrighted content, you wouldn't be able to list on flippa

Traffic on youtube could be cut off anytime. Too much risk to a buyer to offer you enougfh money to sell. Why selll a site for 3-4K when you can make that every couple months. Good work in only 4 months. I would keep the site and build another one just like it. You can double your income before Christmas. If one gets hit you still have the other. When you hit a sweet spot, keep with it until it drys up.

If your site is making 2400$ per month and have 6 months revenue proof then it can give you lots of grands. But for that you need to show some solid income proof and traffic proof.

Post it up with a decent reserve for yourself and see how much it will go for. Put the price a bit higher and hope for the best. If it does not sell, you'll still have your income potential.

Would be interested in speaking to you about it if you ever decide to get rid of the site.
