I live in a suburb about 8kms (5miles) North of Bangkok's central business district. I can get Internet access at an Internet Cafe for 10 baht (US 30¢) an hour and the 2Mbps service to my house is 890 baht (US$26) per month, although saying that; a new, cheaper alternative is now available for just 590 baht (US$17) per month.

I'm interested to learn just how much you're paying in whatever corner of the globe you access the world wide web from - if you can spare the time of course. :)

    Thanks a lot then. :)

    $82.99/mo USA - 20 meg.

Although I am definitely downgrading this month. I get 30 meg with my modded modem and just have to pay for the lowest service.

Well we have allot of rates. But internet only would be about $26 20mbps, and were getting 100mbps in all our towns but that will be expensive

Here in my place the price for official ISP from government is $75 per month and the speed is 1 Mbps, unlimited quota.
Of course there are many alternatives ISP that can go as low as $20/month but the speed is usually slow.

$150 CAD p/m in Vancouver. I am using a wireless stick which allows you to access internet from any park, beach and distant location. Just plug in the computer and you got the wireless high speed service.

Rogers been having this deal for over a year I believe. Costly but very convenient though.

$50 for ADSL (8mpbs download/ 128k upload) with unlimited bandwith. I wish I could get a faster upload speed, but then I would have to compromise my bandwidth which I can't do since I use more then 10gb of bandwidth a month :p
