From the thread created by @vics : https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/are-you-happy-with-your-life.1154904/ . It’s easy to tell money does make majority happy and lots putting the emphasis on not buying a Lambo yet.

Happiness varies per individual , money wise . I’m sure hitting $5k a month as a single guy will really make me happy till I get strucked by next reality.

The ‘SO’ question , What amount would make you happy as single guy or Family man :rolleyes:

I would like a million a month please and thanks.

And I wouldn't realy put it into material things, like mansions or cars or something. I would help my family, cousins etc.), and then afterwards I would put it towards travelling or hobby and media projects. Maybe like a vlog or instagram thotting idk yet.

If you arent earning even $10k/month, you arent good, if you are not in a 3rd world country.
So $15K is fine for me.

I spend around $20-30 a day... so if I get $50 a day passive/online, I’ll be content. Then I can use my work money for rent and online money to expand and enjoy myself.

I know it’s easier said than done , What’s the plan to attaining this target ? Having a mansion/luxury cars is not just material thing if you have them as asset through rentals.

Only 10× would make me happy.
Since 10× growth is hard to achieve monthly - any growth provides satisfaction for me.

You're either going for: more, less, or the same.

And to make it even simpler, you're either going for more, or you're going for less. Because going for the same, will always be equal to less - over time.

If I made $500 last month, I'd be happy seeing $550

If I made $5000 last month, I'd be happy seeing $5500 this month.

It reminds me a regular job wouldn't provide income growth as quickly as I can work for it being an entrepreneur, so it keeps me in check & helps me stay humble/happy about my situation regardless of my income.

But minimum to remain feeling comfortable / happy would be $2-5k USD per month

$5k/month (after tax) would be plenty for me.

I'd only need half of that to actually live, but I like saving money.

I think I would wanna do Internet marketing and more IM and keep entering into multiple IM projects together. Right now Im dirt poor and dont have the means to get a new job even. Long story dont ask.

So my first target is 1k-3k in instagram, and I'm very frugal so then I could invest in other things while keeping things cheap for myself and my consumption and then increase in value maybe that way once i get to that point.

And yes I know about mansion and car rentals, and I'd be open to it, but at that point I'd have to judge how much energy and "care" I have to put into those assets. Maintaining those assets and their costs can be hard, and could prove to be more responsibility than its owrth. And I personaly value a more carefree style of life, and don't want responsibility.

So if investing in automation where I have to sit at a computer desk once a week and make that kind of money remotely then thats infinitely better than maintaining a bunch of physical assets I have to tend to physically by contacting people, going to people, etc. etc. and that whole thing becoming a huge headache. Again, I'd have to check when I get there, when I have the means to get to that point. But I've seen these types of rich folk in my life before and oftentimes, they might be rich in money and physical assets, but they also work hella hard, and have a ton of responsibilities, and although they actually do enjoy doing that (being a CEO is a really attractive title to have), I personally don't and want to relieve myself of as much responsiblity as possible.

    Hope this makes sense.

Its a long journey but I'm willing to put my life on the line for this because frankly its the only option I have right now.

No amount is ever enough considering human's nature but 4k a month makes me upper-middle class in my home country.

Happiness doesn't really lay on how much you make. People, who tend to believe that, tend to be even more depressed when they reach their goal and see that the only thing they fought for didn't really made them happy. It is called "I'll be happy when..." syndrome.
BUT money does really make your life easier and more comfortable. I know what I'm talking about as I earn way above the average where I live and I want to earn even more.
Right now, I earn around 1.2k $ per month and we already live comfortably with just the third of that amount, around 400 $.
And I would like to earn around 3.5k $ to take care of my future and the people that I love.

    A recent study spotlighted on Nature[dot]com https://www.nature.com/articles/s41562-017-0277-0

    Questions asked:
Income is known to be associated with happiness, but debates persist about the exact nature of this relationship. Does happiness rise indefinitely with income, or is there a point at which higher incomes no longer lead to greater well-being?

    Conclusion:
Globally, we find that satiation occurs at $95,000 for life evaluation and $60,000 to $75,000 for emotional well-being. However, there is substantial variation across world regions, with satiation occurring later in wealthier regions.

So I guess if you are up around 6 figures you are doing pretty good.
