    Hello I'm currently considering buying pr 5 domain with 16,000 backlinks for 1000$. I would also buy Xrumer and dedicated hosting to link my spam.

    This will cost around 2000$ to start...

    How much easier is to rank in SERPs with PR 5 domain than for example with PR 1 or 3?

    PR does not mean good SERPS. For example, a PR1 can outrank a PR5 if Google deems it more relative to the query a user types in.

    Depending on what you are trying to do, I would not purchase a PR5 domain for $1000.00, although the 16,000 backlinks is nice.

    So what are you suggesting? I have limited time(1 year ) to earn real cash on IM... then I'll have no time for it...

    I thought that PR 5 domain can "hold" bigger increase in links amount than pr 0 domain so it would be a nice combo with Xrumer + dedicated hosting...

    I'm willing to invest in something that will give me bigger cash in 1 year ( I'm earning currently with adsense and CPA but its nothing big.)

    the pr 5 is not guaranteed so beware, at the next pr update it could be 3 or 6 or 0 or anything else

    Thanks for your replies...

    Domain is 2 years 10 months old.

    Do you know any good sites where I can buy legit old domains with high PR?

    I have several PR6 Myspace sites I use for SEO. I will sell one of them with over 50,000 google links for $250.

    If anyone has a great way to make money with PR6 Myspace sites, let me know and we can discuss a revenue split.

    @esync

    PR 6 is nice but I think it is hard to sell something via myspace account (Prove me wrong?).

    If you do purchase it i would be hesitant running xrumer direct to the domain. I would run it to web 2.0 properties linking to the domain instead.

    The age of the site is the most important element. PR is not relevant because you can build PR at any time if you want to sell links.

    A site which is over 2 years old will be able to withstand heavy linkbuilding much more easily than a new domain. This has nothing to do with PR. It is a trust issue.

    Agree. My experience shows site age to be the most important.
