how much time do you spend doing internet marketing and how much do you make? curious about how people are doing compared to a regular job.

Me personally I don't make much. I dont put as much time into it as I would like but I know some people who make 100k+ a month. Hell that Kim Dotcom guy was baaaaaanking. It's all about scale.

I dont think thats the best way to measure IM earnings.

IM is about being your own boss, not making an hourly wage.

It'd be impossible to put a solid number on it but it is waaaaay more then I would make at a real job :)

azguru has a good point. IM is a business, and like any business, it comes with upsides and downsides. For the positives, the sky is the limit; as far as the negatives, business is sometimes up, sometimes down.

without going into details, I work longer hours than a regular job, but they are my hours, when I want to do them. Maybe about 60 hours per week all up.

the money is definately better than doing a "normal" job.

Usually, when I am on my game, I work for about 15 minutes to an hour a day, and make anywhere from $70 to $100 with one of my accounts, and $30 to $50 with the other one. Which is about $100 to $150 per hour considering I work no more than an hour on it. But lately of course, I have been having family issues that have hindered my motivation, and I haven't done any work at all, and still make between $15 and $20 a day between the 2 accounts.

Like someone else already posted, you shouldn't measure IM like that. The freedom is great, not having to get up at 6 to drive for an hour to work, is great. For me it's going pretty well at the moment.
I work 1 hour day on average and once a week I work 3-4 to scale up. But I stick to what I'm good at, other stuff I outsource. On average I make somewhere between € 750 and € 1.500/day. And I'm loving it, can you imagine any other job with so much freedom and such nice profit? (not counting escortservice or drug smuggling)
