How much do you charge for web design?

I wonder how much do you guys approximately charge a web design client? Let's say it's a client from the US and I will build a WordPress website for him. Let's say it's a photographer. And I will use a premium WordPress theme for the website that I will customize.

I know every client is different, but I would need to know an average price, because I think I'm charging too little and could be earning more.

I have seen "web design agencies" selling websites as much as $2000 USD and they spent only 4-6 hours setting up the WordPress theme. Individuals (non-professionals) charge $499.99 for a simple website with a premium theme. I'm don't take advantage of business owners so I usually charge $249.99 for a website like that including domain and hosting for 1 year. It depends of how much money you want to steal and how much your services cost.

That's an excellent question and it's not the first time I have run across this issue. It can be really tricky. For example. Our company builds custom wordpress sites for $99, many individuals resell our website services as a white label. On the other side, we offer lead generation wordpress websites which start at $5,000. With these sites we guarantee that the client will make money or the site is free.

Often people charge $200 with premium theme
If your newbie and going for reviews, then I guess you need to take this amount only.
