    Hi there,

I have some cool products. I would like to become an advertiser at some CPA networks but I have never dealt with this. My products are mostly cheap electronics. I could sell most of them for $200/piece where the making of the product cost me around $90, so the $200 price will still be cheap. How much of that will be the network and affiliates share? Also I know I will have to prepay them - how much is enough for such products (all of them are physical electronics)?

    Thanks in advance!

Anything helpfull will be highly appreciated!

The amount required differs from network to network.

Depends if you are US based or not, networks will try and pull a credit check and if they can't they will ask you for a deposit (for big networks i think it's in the $10k range)

PS you seem a bit 'green' to approach a network by looking at OP, look into Mike Hill's CPA Tsunami to understand the world of being an advertiser (its here on the forum somewhere)

Do you actually understand the concept of CPA yet?
CPA is the advertisers way of harvesting leads to promote
    their products to.
Have you ascertained your conversion rate from the leads they send you?
If not you will come unstuck very fast.
They are not sending you sales, they are sending you leads and trials.
If your leads and trials don't convert into sales you will be bankrupt very fast.

He can work on a Cost Per Sale basis if he wants to... But all the money is on the backend, if he doesn't have a good backend he will not be able to sustain himself as an advertiser and there will be no cashflow

Ok you got me, I'm totally "green" on this area, however, after a little bit of research I definately need an affiliate network like clickbank/commision junction?

    So 2 main questions again?

    1) Whats the $$ range I need to enter the biggest ones? (prepayment, not US based)
    2) what is the share that is going to the network?

Thanks in advance, your answers are really helpfull. It's nice to see people helping you! :)

P.S. I have the product and about $15k to invest on it (for prepayment) I'm wondering if it's worth it. Also I have another idea for a digital product - ebooks for a tight niche which people are highly interested in. The problem is here that normally those books cost ~$20, aka not much ... so the questions is how much is the network share. Is it all what you negotiate OR there is a scheme?

    Thanks :)

I said on my previous post... You can expect something in the region of $10k. Percentage is decided with the IO agreement... Please make us all a favour and download Mike Hill's CPA Tsunami... everything is there. you will see that after you have watched all of it, you knew nothing about being an advertiser, TRUST ME ;)
