Let’s say I put a little work in it but nothin too much, basic optimization and basic promotion. Looking to do just some easy technical work that others don’t want to do like send cold emails and what not. How much could I realistically expect nowadays?

I have been thinking about doing this again too. Last time I made about $800 in a few months working on it part-time. Here is what I did 6 years ago: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/my-first-30-days-on-fiverr-to-making-money.705824/

I know a lot has changed since I worked on it. But I am thinking about doing the stuff people don't want to do, such as data mining and design work.

I would love to follow your journey if you share it. Please update me and maybe we can share what works and what doesn't.

Really depends on niche/market/gig. Basically it can earn you a fortune, but as I said: It depends on many things. Competition, price, gig, demand etc.

No one can answer your question, it depends on multiple factors.

When Indians and Pakistanis fled the market of freelancing (with all do respect for their communities), worldwide freelancers community is now in the rock bottom of the pyramid to earn some money. They will always offer cheaper, sadly never better, services. So it's getting nearly impossible to beat the competition and to offer something for a decent price. You have to work for pennies to get gigs and usualy it's not the experience or portfolio people are looking for, they are looking for the lowest price. Worldwide Freelancers market is nearly destroyed.

I would go locally if I were you.

For the record - I was freelancing for 11+ years.

There isn't really an answer to this, it depends on how much work you put in, what you sell, how quickly you can build up a reputation, how you advertise your services elsewhere such as social media.

So many factors, the best way is to jump in and see how it goes. Look at your competitors and be better.

All the best if you do take the plunge.

Really depends on what you offer. This month until now i made 1162$ last month i made a little over 2000 but what i'm offering is a bit technical...and there are not many sellers...

If i went for design....sites etc... i would make probably 0$

Yes, thats true. The only way someone can beat them is by providing actual premium quality. No bot generated shit.

Luckily there are some niches, where people prefer to spend more money on quality. For example I would spend more money from work of a british, american, canadian or european guy, because I know the quality would be better.

And no, i am not selling on Fiverr atm.

The competition there is brutal isn't it? Like you have to slave off to make profit. But if it's something no one is offering you'll make really good money.

I think you can make very good money. But you need to promote your services and look for customers. If you rely on feverr seo, then you won’t get anything ...

I think Fiverr is doing good. People are buying review iñ hundreds to stay top of it. It should worth for them and they know the.potential.
