How much can you REALLY make auto blogging?
    The Question Finally Answered

I've seen far too many "how much can you make" topics in the Blogging section, a few days back, in the ************ IRC channel (#MakeCash), randomly a user came on (Forgot who, sorry!) and asked this question, me and another active user of the IRC channel (Sorry, forgot again!) answered the question and got into a small conoversation about the income from auto blogs.

Before I even begin to factor in on your earnings with auto blogs, one of the main factors to your earnings, are niche and income method, I seem to think that far too many people ask the question about auto blogs, but really, there is hardly any differnce in auto blogs and normal blogs, at least there shouldn't be.

Sometimes it can be a lot easier to find a good traffic source, if you know how to earn from your niche, certain niches will earn more easily then others. I know I'm not going into much detail yet, but trust me on this one.

While I was researching auto blogging myself (Before I wrote this thread) I came across http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/blogging/71968-autoblogs-what-you-might-missing-320-mo-1-autoblog.html topic, which was quite a interesting read. Same blog, same month, huge earning differnce.

    $6.70 (Something like that)

    Cooking stuffing $321.98

So that is something major to factor in, now obviously the amazon earnings are from cooking stuffing, which I am not going to go into now, but you really need to think a lot about if your going to start cooking stuffing, you can cookie stuff most things. Simple example, if you were running a blog based on web hosting, cookie stuff major web hosts, such as HostGator. I'm not going to go into it much more from there, but don't forget, nothings stopping you cookie stuff 100+ sites/at once (At least I don't think there is?)

Okay great, income sources are out of the way, that was pretty simple, but not we move on to "auto blogs", I've seen a load of topics / posts on here from members saying/thinking you can simply set up a auto blog and it will generate traffic and the whole process takes a few hours if that, okay you can, but your really not going to be making decent income from that! If you don't already know, traffic is money, targetted traffic is better money, that applies to pretty much everything internet marketing.

Setting up the auto blog is pretty simple when you understand how everything works, not going to go into it in this topic, but if you want to use adsence, you need unique content, so remember that! Once you've got content, thats great, but you can't do anything without traffic, so of course you need to factor that in.

Sure you can automate traffic, I'm not going to lie, if you know how to promote on Twitter (Really isn't that hard) you can easily promote all your new posts on Twitter, if you go into in a bit more depth, you can promote all your posts on Twitter and get 24/7 traffic, you can even use software like HummingBird to get large amounts of targetted followers.

Your not going to be getting decent income from Twitter traffic, yeah it's probably good traffic to cookie stuff, but it's not going to get you many clicks, so you really want to get traffic from social bookmarking websites, which can you semi-automate with OnlyWire and similar applications.

The real money comes from traffic from search engines, if you want to get traffic from Google etc. You need to focous on SEO, link building, link wheels, etc. Sure you can automate this from out sourcing, heck you can fully automate it with the right start up money, software like xRumer, pro blog commenters and so on.

So overall, making $1 per day on a single auto blog is totally possible, but honestly, your not going to be able to set up 1 auto blog, earning $1.00 a day in a hour, simply because its not going to have a load of traffic, you can out source everything you need to do by the way.

When you set up a a auto blog, it should look pretty much like a normal blog, if it doesn't, then it's pointless, so just like running a normal blog, you need to do certain things to get traffic, improve rankings and just improve the blog.

    - Link building
    -- Link Wheels
    -- Blog commenting
--- Blog commenter pro / whatever it's called.
    -- Forum postings
    --- xRumer

Just all the general SEO stuff you'd do to any normal blog, without this, your blog is NOT going to be making $1+/per day stableably.

Seeing as I just spent god knows how long writing this topic, it would be nice to see a decrease in the number of topics asking this bloody question, the answer is this, if you spend time on your auto blogs and build up links etc. You can make $xx/day/per blog and $x,xxx/month without any problems. Infact it would be possible to make $xx,xxxx/month with auto blogs with some time and effort. If you spend hardly any time working on you blogs, you'll be lucky to make $x/month.

Is there a software that automate blog commenting? I havent came across one that does that. The best I could find is Comment Kahuna.

Thanks. You pretty much covered what I'm going to do. :D

Yeah there is, there are a number of applications that can do this, but most are rubbish and a waste of time, I saw something good in BST section like Antsaoo said :)

You are on the right track of knowledge about how to build a successful autoblog. I will give you guys some tips on how I am succeeding.

When I build a blog it generally takes me 1-3 hours per blog but the reason why it is so quick is because I invested both time and money in creating a system that works for me that I could replicate easy. That system took me around 3months to complete, and probably another 3months of research, so I have got to a point where I can just copy and paste etc... Now after 1 week of completing 1 blog I get instant traffic for eg: A blog I completed 2months ago was getting about 300uvs a day just after 2weeks!!! And making a odd dollar a day, 2months down the track that blog is now the highest playing blog in my network getting around 1100+ uvs a day and making around $5-$8 a day including twitter revenue for that site. Let me tell you I did NOT DO ANY SEO WORK. Not 1 method!!!. The site grew day by day, real people created backlinks for me and traffic is steady climbing. So IMHO fk some of those SEO methods yes they work but for the time they take you I don't see a point, if you really want yea fine go ahead and use those methods but if you are wanting to make a reputable blog that your visitors want to keep coming back to then don't bother with them, how do you think Google will love those Xrummer Blasts? Waste!

Bottom line and number 1 tip to creating a successful blog here is to create a system that works. Don't just whip something up in 1day without any research, do all the research you can do... Take a look at some good autoblogs that get good traffic and see how they do it... Invest time and money and you will succeed.

I am still building my network so I am limited for time to help you guys, but when I am finished I'll be sure to contributed as much as possible... Who knows I'd even give you guys my system!

Well the thing is I do not do any backlink building... Real visitors take my links and post it on forums, twitter, social sites and even reference it on web2.0 sites. This is all AUTO. I guess it must be the content and plus that user must feel safe visiting my blogs? As I even see these users adding there avatars to there profile on my blog.

Blogsense will do this for amazon posts and yahoo answers. But not for rss postings that come from other blogs. Its too complicated to try and build a universal comment scrapper, but I'm thinking this can be done with blog services that offer comment rss feeds... maybe we can invent a way to auto detect them if they are there ... I personally haven't attempted this yet.
