What's the limit of the amount you can earn per month on AdSense before you get a manual review? I'm about to hit $2350 per month. I need to make sure my Ads are policy watertight for the review.

Have you received any payouts yet from this site?

What makes you think that your site hasn't been reviewed already? Maybe it has and you have nothing to worry about. It's very possible. You won't receive a notice that it has. The only time they contact you is when you are thought to be operating against their TOS. By then, it's too late. So if you have been paid, keep doing what you're doing. And if you think you're 'getting away' with something, it's not going to last very long. Eventually, they will find it and stop showing ads on your site.

Manual reviews, as far as my experience goes, don't have a specific traffic threshold or dollar amount to hit. Eventually, all sites are reviewed if there is a reason to make one of their many many many many many flags go up. That's the real unknown. Which flag did you hoist and why?

I've had sites and accts last for months and some not make it to the first payday. And all my sites are basically the same thing over and over. I've had $4k months that I got paid on and the next month, earning around the same, the site and acct was taken down. I've had other sites where I didn't make as much as $250 in one month, the following month it was gone. And as I said earlier, they are all basically the same site. Just different domains and different niches for each.

I don't do any blackhat stuff with my adsense accts. To this day, I have no idea why the sites and accts that were taken down, were taken down. And you'll have better luck banging the Queen of England than you will trying to get your account reinstated. Forget it. Just put the bitch to bed and get another account. Until then, hold your ass for another couple days and hope you get paid. All you can really do is follow their TOS to the best of your ability.

    Good Luck

If your traffic isn't converting or your CPR is 6%+ you will get a manual review.

I have been receiving payouts from AdSense every month since 2014, some for over $1000... I haven't actually been manually reviewed (as far as I know), but if I am there are a couple of small concerns I would have.

Firstly on mobiles I show a sentence of content then an ad below so the ad still shows on the first screen. And secondly I have two very similar sites competing in the SERPs... This was not intentional, the first one got hit by Penguin when I set up the second, then magically recovered (to a degree) all on its own and that nets a small percentage of my daily income.

If you are receiving payouts and you havent been contacted by Google yet, then you are obviously not disappointing them.

How much traffic do one actually need to earn that amount of money? 5million visitors per month?

And why are you fearing of a manual review? if you do not do something against their tos nothing should happen

5 million visitors will only make you $2k/month? Are you trolling or something?

Why trolling, I am asking how much visitors a website need approximately to get so much adsense revenue. If you do not have something useful to contribute. just go somewhere else

I had an adsense account for 7 years without any problem, but for the first 5 years I was earning only few bucks a month. Later for the last 2 years, with a new website, I earned around 2k per month, and in the end of the 2 year I got banned by adsense. Nothing was changed from the beginning of the last 2 years, but maybe they made a manual revision just after the 2 years, and (who knows why) they decided to ban me :-(

They never say you why they ban you, they just say you are not following their TOS, so you go to read their TOS and you can find an hundred of rules, where is not so hard that you forgot to follow someone of them....

    End of party

(You can go on with CPA, but with less earnings)

Sorry pal, but please use your brain next time and make some rough calculations on your mind before asking such a question.
First of all, it depends on A LOT of factors, such as the niche, your content, ad placement (very important), your traffic sources, CTR, etc... No one will give you any exact answer. For example, if you placed your ads correctly, you are going to make much more with the same amount of traffic than if you didn't.

Second of all, making some rough calculations and assuming you will have a CTR of about 5% (the normal rate is between 3-10% but it's not abnormal to have extremely high rates as well such as 20%+), you would need 1k visitors/day to make $50/day if on average you get $1/click. 1k visitors/day -> 30k visitors/month and $50/day -> $1500/month. Can you calculate now for 5 million visitors/month how much more you are going to make? Hence my reply.

    Around 6,000 visitors a day, so 180,000 a month.

hmm ok thank you, can you point me to a thread/website or something explaining ads placement?
My website is gettiing around 110UV per day since a week, and so far only 2 klicks have been made, I guess my ads placement is not optimized at all.

Most of the publishers accounts are banned just before the payment, so you are never safe with Adsense.

Quick tip... Make separate ad units and placements for each device (mobile, desktop, tablet) and have them inserted dynamically depending on the User Agent. There are a few plugins which show different content based on UA.
