How much can I realistically sell 4 micro niche sites making $120/month altogether?

So are there people looking for these kinds of sites, that are already making money? And how much are they willing to pay?

Because I have seen prices ranging from 3 times to 10 times of monthly earnings and would like to know what is a good avarage that I can expect.

If I could sell a 4-pack making ~$120/month for about $1000, I think making a few sites/month would be a good business model to acquire money for some bigger projects.

Thoughts? :)

Just like any business the longer and more stable income they show the more valuable. Also the better the records you keep the better price you'll get as well.

why not just keep the sites as a long term investment? or does the process of which you make these sites cost you a lot of $$ and cant afford to keep them?

I'm just trying to build up some capital for a few authority sites, and also, I personally wouldn't be too comfortable with too many thin sites on my Adsense account that's why I'd prefer to sell the sites I make and rank.

To make it clear, I don't have sites for sale yet, I'm just interested if it would be a good business model if let's say I created the 4 sites, a month later I reached $4/day with the 4 sites altogether, kept the sites for another month to see that the income is consistent, and then sell them all. So basically 2 months old sites with proof of earnings and visitors as well.

Then if it proves to work it could be an easily scalable method, the only question is if people are willing to buy such sites and for how much.

I sold a site that only made about $10 a day for $10k - 100% true story. I was gobsmacked when he offered me that much for it.

I buy sites for the last 3 months of net revenue...

I think either you just said more than you may have realized, or my perception is getting much stronger. In either case, thank you! ^_^

The person that purchased this was perhaps thinking more longterm than you were. Oh well, better to get your money today than tomorrow, right? Trick question...

Generally, you should be able to show profit of at least 3-6 months continuously. If I were you, I would have sold the pack for no less than $1500, provided you have the proof of revenue.

People are not interested in buying sites that earn $120 one month and nothing on the next. Continuity is the key.

If I was you I would keep two and sell the other two.

From the money of the two that are sold. I would build four other sites.

Then I would take the revenue from the two sites I originally had and save it. For other big projects

Let's just say that those four other sites take 4 months to build and rank (could take less or more, just generalising here)

Remember those two sites that you kept? now sell them for 20% to 50% more because you have more proof that the sites are bringing in income on a daily basis. Like bumba1988 said "Continuity is the key"

In the meantime you let the other four sites you built get some age and income.

Wait 1 month then sell them.

The advantage of doing this is that opportunity cost (the cost of the next best alternative) is low.

That what I would do, if I was in your shoes,

You can realistically sell them for as much as you can get someone to pay for them.

Jump on Flippa and see what sites that are making the same amount as yours are selling for.

Selling for a 4 pack would be a good idea I think, if they are only making $120 a month, splitting them up makes them not really worth much so good plan.

if the sites are making 120/month you can sell it for 500+, you have to analyze if there are for long term

to the right buyer they are worth alot to the wrong person they are worth diddly squat
