I wonder that how Youtube pays for content creators. Is the price for 1000views fixed?
More like 50 cents + googles cut + taxes.
On my channel I get average 2$/k
you can get $1-2 per 1000 viewers and for 1000 impressed viewers, you get $3-4
hello there,,,,it would be awesome to get 1-2 per 1k views,, i am getting 0.30-0.50. How do you get 1-2? thanks
This right here, I wonder what magic brings them to 2$/k
Well it depends on how many of your views are been monetized by Youtube (how often ads are displayed to the viewer).
Thank all! Why have the difference??
2 days ago i've uploaded a vid which got 7k views now (earned 0.73 $ so far)
My other video with 680k views earned only 240$. :/
I don't know why the difference maybe the country i live in or maybe topic of the videos...
Go ahead and check out my jurney for screenshootas of my analytics
People are acting like shit when they tell you - " Hey , I am earning 2-5$/ K"
What they don't tell you is the real junk. A lot of factors are considered but the right formula is-
Revenue per 1000 impressions (RPM) represents the estimated earnings you'd accrue for every 1000 impressions you receive. RPM doesn't represent how much you have actually earned; rather, it's calculated by dividing your estimated earnings by the number of page views, impressions, or queries you received, then multiplying by 1000.
RPM = (Estimated earnings / Number of page views) * 1000
If you earned an estimated $0.15 from 25 page views, then your page RPM would equal ($0.15 / 25) * 1000, or $6.00.
If you earned an estimated $180 from 45,000 ad impressions, your ad RPM would equal ($180 / 45,000) * 1000, or $4.00.
RPM is a commonly used number in advertising programs, and you may find it helpful for comparing revenue across different channels."
So that's what YouTube itself tells you. More over 'YES' the revenue depends on your country. If you are from USA you have high advertiser but if you are from India (like me) then advertising rates are lower comparatively.
Plus you should feel great for earning whatever you did since 1 month because there were no advertisements as AD's were boycotted, its slowly coming back as it is kinda sorted.
Don't listen to shitty guys, better know your facts!
-------------- Hence proved! LOL
depends... if you have tier 1 traffic you can get more money than for example - i'm in Poland with 200.000views made only 50$ thats 0,25$ per 1k
Many thanks for this enlightenment
My last video got 40k views, 100% German traffic. Earned 60$.
Why don't I get paid when I have my own videos on Youtube that have several K views and I got nothing!
50-60 pence GBP
It will Change Based On the Quality of Traffic.. Number of Hours Watched.. Location of the Traffic Etc..
my channel has 2.7 million views and i have made around 1200USD to date
youtube also just disabled my modernization so i just like $300 of that
There are factors that come into play such as niche and the ad's that are showing on your video. The 1-2$ per 1k views are not accurate anymore. At the moment, i'd say the avg. is 0.50-1.25 $ per 1k Views.
