How much? I'm buying buying them with $100 per 1 domain budget right now, but it doesn't seem to be enough for the top shit domains.

Just the registration fee. Takes some digging but I'm able to find gems that can't be found anywhere else.

This is for non-English sites though, I reckon it's harder to find good domains for English sites.

That price is crazy. You can have a month of domain hunter gatherer for £47 and scrape as many as you want.

What metrics are you getting for $100?

The big boys are paying 1k+ for PBN domains but I just purchased my first domain from a auction and it cost $100.

I usually just scrape them with domain hunter gatherer but this time I wanted something a bit stronger.

I don't think it's crazy because top players surely pay 500+ per domain.

Well something like TF/CF both 20+, but I prefer relevancy over the top shit metrics. I know that relevancy doesn't matter as much, but I believe that it will in the future. I don't bother checking out DA/PA because it's a crappy metric, but I do check the complete link profile. I am buying them solely through auctions and I have some other things on my checklist.

It has to be still indexed.
It has to have some historic data @ Semrush. TF/CF don't matter if domain was penalized and I can tell you that there are a lot of them out there.
I don't bother with dropped domains, although I will add a few of those in the mix as well.

Top players don't have PBNs, they rank with real money sites.

I always looking for good matrix but very difficult but I get (PA,DA,TF.CF- 18,25,21,20) in these range always. I pay just $9 for a domain and I am a starter and I don't use seo hosting/reseller hosting/pbn hosting But I buy single host from different hosting providers so that I can reduce footprints of hosting. This also I get for 20$ per year. So you can now add 9+20 =29 USD Max for a single domain and hosting.

Max budget per domain is 30USD. Maybe too short but at least me can't handle more :S
As people say before, i think 100USD is not enough to get a real good one.

The big boys have PBNs look on the auctions, any domain with a good link profile goes for $500+

If the domain has 200+ referring domains and the TF is 30+ that's going for $500 easy.

Im sure a normal person looking to make a normal site will not be paying $500 for a domain.

On mainstream platforms such as godaddy/namejet auctions, $100/domain budget you can only get acceptable domains these days. Real quality ones always take at least around $500.

You can find domains in all price ranges. But, $100 you will get what you pay for.

Its not fake there are coupons for getting 0.99c domains, I forget if they are for new customers only or if they are time limited coupons but I know godaddy do these from time to time. Only problem with Godaddy is the whois privacy costs almost as much as dom registration from other registrars.

Also shameless plug for domain hunter gatherer, screw having to pay $100+ per half decent domain or do it all manually and still pay $150+ a month for Moz and Majestic accounts to manually check domains. When DHG does it all for you and includes Moz and Majestic stats without the need for an account at either site it is hard to justify the alternatives.

Reg fee, you are bing robbed for $100 per domain.

I got a PR5 domain last week that used to belong to a huge building firm last week. It had only been on the market for a day before i got it ;)

Reg. fee - I'll find PA, DA upwards of 40+ and CF, TF 25+.
If I want to build a new network quickly, I may go to auction and pay more.
