    Hello everyone,
I want to ask where to look for people that can translate my articles from one language to another.
Can you point me to some good services? (fiverr is not an option because 5$ for 300 word article is a bit too much in my opinion).
    Thanks for all replies.

Average rates charged for translations goes from $0.08 to $0.12 per word. Fiverr`s $5 for 300 words is about 10% of the regular rate, I donĀ“t know if you get better pricing or if you should trust on someone doing it for less than $5.

If you need english-spanish translations I can help you matching fiverr`s $5 / 300 words.

A bit too much? Have fun with the headaches over the quality. The current translation work I'm doing pays me 7$/100 words of translated content.

Post in the Hire a Freelancer section here itself on BHW, giving all details on the job. You will recieve response from member (if any) who are willing to do it at that rate.

I do personally work only with translators from Odesk. Just take a look at the country they are from, sometimes they offer translation to their 2nd language (not their mater lang).

If you plan to translate more content try to find 2 translators, get your text translate and then send it to review to the other guy. If you budget allow send it to even more translators. Then you will be sure the translator is good (or bad) so you can trust him for all other articles.

I can translate from english-spanish or spanish-english for $1/100. For that price you will get a very good translation but if you want something more sophisticated then the price may rise according your needs. If you want high quality translation then don't go for cheap offers.

I have personally used oDesk for English to Spanish translations and they were affordable and turn around time was quick. My suggestion is mention your maximum rate on your job post, so you can eliminate the ones who want more pay. Its worked for me on occasions, might work work you. Try it out.

I would take a look on popular freelance websites for work like this. There are many people out there who are willing to do this kind of work for you and charge around $0.12 per word sometimes less.

Is there any good site where I can offer my job as translator? English is my second language, but I can easily translate anything to portuguese.

I think you should find some cheap work on UpWork, I usually do translations for 5$ per 500 words. Although I can do only from English to Serbian or Romanian so yeah not that much work xD

You could find plenty of translators on Fiverr. Starting their offer from 5$.
