I have a 40 page site that makes between $25 and $35 per 1000 visitors in adsense revenue.

I do not know if this is good or not. To me is, but should I be able to make more? I am doing this with 1 adsense block on the pages, and I can put two more on them. Am I leaving money on the table?

Without giving away your adsense earnings, what do you make per 1000 visitors?

    EDIT:
Keywords that the site targets are in the $2-$3 CPC range, generally.

    Stats for last December.

    1987 uniques
    2.832 views
    80 % bounce rate
    144 clicks
    5.08 CTR
    $0.49 Average CPC
    70.99 earnings for December.

if your site is about justin bieber, that's fantastic

if it's about mesothelioma lawyers in los angeles, that's awful

all a matter of perspective :)

You have a good platform to move forward on, but what you should be thinking is whether it will be easier for you to get more money out of those 1000 visitors or whether with the same time investment you could work to getting more visitors to your site

There is not any time spent with it, it is a hobby site with content, and all I do is add a page when the mood strikes me. I can go hands off for a month or two at a time and the earnings and traffic are pretty steady.

What I am trying to figure out is should I go deeper with this site, or let it lie and earn and move on to another one. It wasn't that hard to build this site, to be honest.

Keywords that the site targets are in the $2-$3 CPC range, generally.

personally I'm biased towards having more than one iron in the fire.....

once you have a few good projects going, it's more a matter of expanding where you can have the most effect.

It seems that you have a ctr of 1%, maybe you could try to increase it? If you get it to 2% you could double your income. There are sites that can get around the 5% ctr.

    Just a thought....

I think this is great so far. Just keep on scaling as many adsense sites usually do and you are on your way to success. Also you could use that money to invest in other projects and not just sitting on the one you have now.

    Good Luck Man

Your revenue is good, but it could be improved. If your site is really targeted, you could work on increasing CTR, which would increase your earnings.
