Ok this is kinda funny but accidental income. I have a friend who is FAR FROM computer savvy. He is old fashion and sells used items and homemade items at local flea markets and huge conventions. Its his hobby so if he sell 2 items in 7 hrs. He is happy. LOL! Last Week I came up with an idea after seeing many BH people step out the box. With offline marketing. I said to myself where are there lots of people to target in herds. My buddy came to mind the flea market guy. I came up with a raffle idea but after telling my bud he said that you can not do raffles in a flea market environment due to some rule or law WHATEVER! So then i came up with this METHOD below and just got a call from by buddy asking me did i get what i needed.( he was lost from the start dont know a thing about the internet) I logged in my aff account a BEHOLD BHW i had 137 leads. WTF. It worked like Peanut Butter & Jelly on toasted bread!!! LOL

#1. My buddy went to his flea market booth as usual selling his homemade and used electronics. The Flea market booth is $22 bucks a day on a Saturday. or Sunday. I paid this for him.

#2. I took a NON WORKING 42" Plasma TV to his booth displayed it right in the front where everyone can see it. I Placed a HOT PINK Star Price Tag on it BUY IT NOW $275

#3. I told my buddy that i had a hook up for more of these at this price. But the one on display was SOLD already. I told him who ever inquire about getting a TV to visit our CHEAP TV. website write the web-address down for them on paper and tell them to get on the list. This way we can contact them within the next 2 weeks to get a TV. for this price.

#4. The site was a dressedup cheap tvs site with an Iframe cpa offer that paid $2.80 per lead for email & name. I forward the site by using a domain from the free domain forwarder dot.tk just made a domain name like CHEAPTVsmore.tk Thats not the site but just telling you example.

NOW I KNOW IM Probably OUT the radar, but i didnt know it would convert like this. So we'll see what the aff net says about this. I will give it another try next SATURDAY! LOL hopefully the cpa offer is still good.

CHEERS BHW another OUTSIDE THE BOX PRODUCTION JOIN MY BH GROUP: THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX

hilarious how some stuff you may think may not even work will work. I really think the outside marketing works on converting leads cause many NON CYBER folks are not up on whats going on in the internet world.

I think it is a great IDEA. ;)

    Lets think about this.

    $22 to do this? Minimum..

    + $10 if you got a .com

    TOTAL: $22-$32 plus a 2-4 hours on a Saturday.

Not to much. And I'm sure you could outsource someone to run the booth for you, thus saving you the time investment.

    Not very much at all.

And I totally agree with your comment about "non cyber folk". The key with offline is to understand principles and not the actual methods. (same true with anything for that matter).

Anyway. I think it was a good share.

    I like your group also.

    PM with invite please.

iFraming with offline marketing is amazing, you just need to find some incentive first page, single feild email submits so the adveritsers don't get bitchy!

Nice but I'd give you a 70% chance of getting banned, might get paid first though, Im sure you could twist the method into something that doesnt involve framing..

I think his friend told people the TV was already sold. My only concern would be, if I had a friend who was a fleamarket guy like this, I might be screwing him over because people will come back to his booth in the next few weeks and be really angry with him since these people who signed up will be receiving a bunch of spam.

The Flea market booth is $22 bucks a day on a Saturday. or Sunday.

    Plus

    OUTSOURCE

Put an add on craiglist looking for someone for "a days work" on a Saturday and/or Sunday for $7 or 8 an hour and you will get TONS of replies.

Hire them to run the booth.

Thus, different person every time, only $22 cash for the booth, stays off the radar, then maybe switch up the method a little with different products/offers.

    Problem solved.

I'm still curious as to why the broken T.V.?

What would cause the aff network to ban somone for offline marketing? Or is the problem with the iFrame. The bigger question is, why does he even need an iFrame? Isn't to possible to get people to fill out the aff link info 100% whitehat just by carfully wording the landing page so that potential customers for the TV would fill out the aff link info before you send them details on the offer?

considering it was a 1 page submit that pays 2.80 it must be a no-incent-allowed offer + the high conversion rate would raise red flags + none of his leads filled out the second page, more red flags + the leads will not convert for the advertiser and they will complain to the network. With 100+ leads in one day out of nowhere, you can be sure the network and advertiser will take a closer look..

The fact that the TV was broken is irrelevant. People at the flea-market didn't know the TV was actually not working. I believe the OP just mentioned it to show the low 'investment' cost of his project.

Yeah that's what came to my mind first. I just wanted to clarify.

Also you probably wouldn't risk a good nice new tv (or yours) up there.

Although, I wonder if having the T.V. on with an awesome picture running a popular football game in that area for example. Could be applied to other things on T.V.

    EXAMPLE:

Guy loves the colts, sees Peyton Manning throw a TD pass in HD on a super cheap/affordable T.V. at the flea market.
Guy is overly compelled to go to your site and fill out offer because "that was to bad ass seeing Peyton throw that touchdown in HD, and its a cheap TV".

    Just a thought.
