This morning I got up to see my FB page is temporarily blocked because a competing website reported an image as abusive. It's the 2nd or 3rd time that this has happened, and I'm getting worried that FB is going to delete the fan page. This page is getting big, and links to my money site, so I can't afford for it to be banned.

So, does anyone know how many warnings you can attain before your page is deleted? If I'm on my last one I need to start being extremely conservative in my posting.

Thanks to anyone with this knowledge. I haven't been able to find the answer anywhere.

It's a fan page for my main money site. I'm not going to go into niche or anything past that. We do TONS of pictures and have been achieving massive virility as of late with them. We're growing at 100-300 real fans a day, and that number is growing exponentially. That then translates to more traffic to the money site.

What sucks is that this is my 2nd or 3rd warning, and I fear it's the last one I can have.

So, I have a few choices.1) Keep posting photos and growing rapidly, at the cost of possible page deletion. 2) Delete all photos and post conservatively, at the cost of rapidly halting out Facebook growth.

Anybody have any ideas on this? Or knowledge on FB warnings for fan pages? I wish Facebook would be more clear with their policies sometimes.

I got a page with +32k fans deleted in an eye blink....

you got a report for abusive content, so I don't know how many warnings they give. I never got one of them...

Instead, I have been reported for a copyright claim. The BS is that I didn't even violate any copyright... the ***hole that reported me was aware that he didn't own the copyright of that (the name of the fanpage) but went ahead anyway!
I contacted facebook but they couldn't help, they said it wasn't up to them to decide who was right between us two, they just went ahead and deleted the page after receiving the claim, and finally they said that the only way of getting my page back was by having the person who filed the complaint to take it back.

Of course the guy who did it (the only thing FB actually did was providing me his name and email) was a total jerk and didn't take it back.. I even sent him a warning letter by my lawyer but still nothing... in these days I'm still deciding if I should go ahead and sue the m****er***!!! The whole thing happened only 1 month ago but I'm still pissed. The page was dedicated to a niche with very active users...

I think it's just ridicolous... basically anybody who has a valid email address can just report your page for copyright and Facebook does absolutely nothing to protect you!

So my advice to you is: if the page is already big enough and generating you money, be as much careful as you can. Don't mind the rapid growth... you will achieve that eventually if you generate good content on your page. But do not take unnecessary risks cause once you lose it, you won't have it back easily!

Sorry to hear about this dude! I had the same problem with eBay and YouTube.. They just take your stuff down with no warning, All because someone reports you.. You would think a company like that would look into the report first, or Dismiss it rather then straight up take your stuff down!

Do you know who it is that's reporting you? Have you tried blocking them from seeing your content? I know that probably wouldn't solve anything as they could quite easily log into another account i suppose, Fight fire with Fire and report him back!
But if it was me i'd keep low for a little while, You will have wished you did if you get Permanently banned.
