I'm not talking about being ranked #1 for keywords or how many searches you go for when using keyword tools. Everyone knows targeted traffic is key no matter where they come from. How many actual unique visits per day are you satisfied with when you check your analytics account?

It really depends on your niche. In some niches you can be happy with just 20-30 visits per day (let's say you are targeting local dentist niche). Out of those 30 visits at least 2-3 will turn out to be real clients. In other niches you can have more than thousand visits per day and still make close to nothing.

Thanks. I wasn't really asking for me. I know my goals. I just want to know what everyone else shoots for. Also... if you get a thousand visits a day, have adsense on the site, and make close to nothing; something is terribly wrong. ;)

Millions . . . .and more if possible. Honestly, I'd say if i could get 20-30% of the exact search volume per keyword . . that is hot!

on a good day I get 25 NEW, unique visitors.
    ---
    but it's a "live *** news site"
and I have not monetized it yet.
    ---
I do get many returning visitors every day.
    100,000 page views a month.
    5000-10000 unique visitors a month.

Never satisfied. My main money site is at 5,000 per day, I'd like to get it to 10,000. After neglecting it for several years, I took it from 1200 to 5000 in just over the last year. Over that time I also developed 75 EMDs (still 20 more to go), which are generating 10,000 uniques per day as well. But I'd like to get my money site to get there on it's own.

Depends on the website, as mentioned above. If it's a niche site, your only getting 30-40 UV's a day, very targetted traffic, fair enough. If its a big money site project targetting numerous high traffic keywords then the goal is really to just keep upping the UV's number, striving for more and more

I'm getting between 250-350 and am shooting for 1000+. But as soon as I get to 1000+ I'll be going for an even higher number. As long as there is more profit to be made and more visitors to garner I'll be looking to increase.
