Just wondering how many accounts you can follow per day without getting issues from Twitter?
I haven't found they ban you when you mass follow, and its roughly 1k a day for me.
^ thanks. I'm following 200/day at the moment and unfollowing all non-followers after 10 days.
its a single account though and I don't want to lose it. Can a risk setting that a bit higher or not?
It also depends on the age of your account. If your account is fairly new, i wouldn't go above the 200/day
Thanks. Account is about 3-4 months old. Currently following 500 and has 3500 followers (some real some not, just to avoid ratio limits).
I'd always push it to 800-1000 once I pass that 2k followers limit twitter placed. No issues in my experience and I would always unfollow the nonfollowers every 3 days
Guys what program do you use to unfollow ?
I'm using 'MB tweet edition' bot, but unfollow function doesn't work for me.
I have a 9 year old account, that i never really used. started to follow on it and got limited after 500 in a day. Plus there's a limit where a certain amount must be following me before i can follow any more.
Let me just say, that account age does NOT matter. You can easily follow 1000 people a day, just make your profile look legit so people do not report you as a spam account. That is why most people who start following 1k a day get suspended - they just get reported way more than they would be by following 200 people.
I have been following 1k people from day 1 and never had a problem. It's all about how you make your account look in the eyes of people.
Most of the users I follow etc. when I use some auto system are gone after a few days again.. never really good banned!
thanks for the answers guys. I am going to up it to about 350 per day and see how it goes.
I think 400-500 followers are okay per day.
I am going up to 750/day in new accounts without problems
The day you started your account follow couple hundreds max. Then you can follow 900 to 1000 per day once you reached that mark twitter will tell, you reached followers limit, then you can't follow any one. Next day again you can follow 900 to 1000 people. Once you reached 1800 to 2000 followers you can't follow any other. Then you need to unfollow people to follow. You can unfollow 1000 one time after couple of hours unfollow another 1000. So 2K in a day with couple hour break.
Once you got followers then daily 900 to 1000 followers limit +10% of your followers.
This is what happening in twitter for 100's of my accounts.
200 follow and 200 unfollow per day. No more! And all our 1200 accounts are live more 2 years.
Yeah, you can go a bit higher, maybe 500-600 follows per day. Don't hit the 1k limit limit, it doesn't look so natural and suspicious. Keep it a notch down, and you're good to go.
Let us know your experiences soon
if you have like 5000 followers(even fake) and your account is like 6 months old then its ok to follow and unfollow 1000 people
though i am not really sure about the limit i think its 10% of your followers= following limit per day (after you hit 1000 followers)
so if you have 8000 followers and your account is 6 months old, then its safe to follow 800 people in 24 hours
dont forget to check out tweepi, its a great app to make the follow and unfollow process fast
very true. same here
i follow past 1k a day . 1.5k -2k a day
