How many times does Google release the algorithms and updates visible to users?

several times a year, but you don't have to open multiple threads to ask the same question. And you don't need to bold your questions, either, as we are not blind

This is probably done in ways visible to the public 2x per quarter of the year

However, i think google tweaks search every week or so myself. Some wont believe this but if you pay attention to updates, filters added, etc.......... It would make sense this way to me
