I don't have too many websites right now, but I also plan on trying to rank some parasites. I'm just wondering if you guys could tell me what type of proxies I need (semi-private or private) and how many I would need.

I'm worried I'm going to end up buying a bunch of proxies and get them banned or something :|

Also :P Is it a good idea to mix public proxies into GSA SER too?

for posting only; 1-10 i guess, a lot if u scrape too

Yeah, I'm planning on going into scrapebox and making some lists of sites to post to as well. Also worried if I get too many that I'm paying for extra proxies for nothing, or if I don't get enough then I'm going to get them banned :(

Go for private proxies. Much safer. Public will be getting hit by other people as well as much more chance of getting banned. The number you obviously want to be on side of just too many rather than not enough. It really depends on how aggressive your going to run the softwares. There's loads of different advice on this. Try 10 and see how it goes for your particular needs.

For better results always use private proxies and right now i am using 20 and i run campaigns one after another had no problems although i dont scrape much i get a list.

Ok so maybe that will be a good start then. 20 Proxies. How do you get your lists without scraping? Or maybe I should get a seperate amount of proxies to use for scrapebox?

If you can afford yourself private proxys go with them. Most off public proxys are so easy detected.

Tbh you can use shared private proxies. I have 30 of em and running 150 GSA threads, facebook friend bomber, and Followliker with no problem for almost 3 months now.

With the new 2.0 scrapebox I was hitting 1k url/s with only 50 connections

I think im getting lucky tho because my 30 shares private proxies from buyproxies are ALWAYS up and they are fast (never above 0.750 seconds)

I believe im the only one using them or the other 2 users dont use them much, either way they get the same job done as full private proxies at HALF the cost.

Stay away from public proxies tho

bad idea, as soon as you put them they will be already dead because other users will find the same public proxies. It will waste your bandwith

Do you use those 30 semi-private proxies with your Scrapebox too? And if so, would that be at the same time? Or would you make sure to run them separately?

Edit/P.S. - You guys are awesome! :) I think I'm on the right track to finally ranking some of my websites. Knowing a lot of programming languages makes making a website so easy.. but still it's always been so hard for me to try and figure out how to get traffic to them haha

I usually use scraped proxies for this.

Or you can use a service where you can buy 10 ports or so and it changes your IP every 10 minutes.

1.For harvesting blogs, I'd suggest you use public proxies. You can use scrapebox default proxies or ProxyFinder and so on find scrapebox proxies and check it,use it for your harvesting.

2.For commenting on blogs or trackback, I'd suggest you use private proxies. This will increase your successful posts and avoid akismet.
