How many proxies are enough for Scrapebox?

Technically, any number of proxies is enough.
It depends on
A: what you'll be doing and
B: the number of threads you use
So, what do you plan on doing with those 5 proxies? Scraping or commenting?
After you answer, I'll make a suggestion on thread count.

I am planning to use 1 devoted to TT and traffic analysis, I'll use public proxies for scraping but the rest of the 5 I'll use for comment blasting. I dunno how many threads at a time.
10 at $20-$30 per month is alot for me when I'm not making any cash so I may need to start out slow.

Well, when I put together my lists, I comment on the harvested URLs using 10 proxies and 50 connections (to simulate what most of my customers are able to afford in terms of proxies and bandwidth).
So, I'd say to be safe, try out your 5 proxies with 25 connections. If it goes off without a hitch, slowly increase your number of connections by increments of 5.

1 piece of advice - u will see in the main s/box thread
alota people complain the 7 links for free proxies dont work.
well they were never ment as a long term solution, only a starter.
put another way there are thousands of people all trying to leech
thoes 7 links in scrapebox for public proxies.
the more people sharing 1 pool - the worse it gets. now stick thousands
on it.... u get me...
find your own public proxies for better results than the 7
links in scrapebox.

I got 4 shared proxies (So I just used 14 connections in SB) from Mazgalici on fiverr and they almost kept up with 100 public proxies (40 connections). So, a bit slower, but the success rate was higher too.
For posting, 5 is enough.
For scraping, just use public proxies. There are the ones built in, plus lists on here you can test. I try to stay over 75, and sometimes have over 200 that are working.

but the problem is the bandwidth limit for this Private proxy ,
