I dont think its quite that simple. Some blogs aggregate 100s of posts a day and google lives with them. Its more having pure dup content without adding any value.

I have been testing an autoblog for the past month with 100 to 500 posts a day, and google has been indexing all of them, and am getting a fair bit of traffic as well. Don't know when it would all be de-indexed though

Most people who have had there autoblogs last a long time, say that between
2 and 5 a day is the right amount.

I have heard many times that posting 100's a day works for a little while, till
Goog gets around to checking it out, then you get deindexed.

The only exception to that might be if comments are allowed on your blog?
