How Many Posts Should I Show For Indexing Purposes?

Since I have finally dedicated some time to working on my micro niche blog I am looking for some answers here and there to help me out threw the building process. Now I want to know how many posts should I display on my main page for indexing purposes. I see that the default setting is "10", will a higher or lower number get me indexed easier into G? Please let me know your experience with this.
