Consistency is better than number of posts. For best results, posting 2 to 4 times a day is enough. Especially when you're just starting out. That way, it won't look like you're spamming the platform

Usually depends on the platform. That said, you can usually get away with upwards of 10 but only if you post quality content you're sure will get engagements. How fast you post good content without screwing over your averages is the detail of note there.
Doing it daily does show consistency but how many you do which generates engagement is what's important. If you spam and barely get engagement, the algo won't push you out to other peeps so that's counter to what you want.

From what I’ve tested, posting frequency depends more on the platform and content quality than a fixed number. Daily posting works well for steady growth, but spamming multiple times only helps if every post is still decent. On most platforms, consistency + quality beats volume. Curious to hear what others are seeing
From recent tests, 1–3 solid posts a day usually performs better than spamming. Algorithms favor quality engagement, not volume. Higher frequency only helps if you’re testing, not if it lowers content quality.

For me it’s less 1 vs 10 and more how many good pieces I can make before things get sloppy.
On most platforms (IG, X, LinkedIn) I get the best results with 1 solid post a day, sometimes 2 if I’ve genuinely got something decent. When I tried spamming 5–10 a day, reach dipped because too many mid posts dragged the average down.
Only exception where I’ve seen volume help is TikTok/Shorts: 2–4/day can work there as long as the hook is strong – but even there, 3 good clips beats 10 lazy ones every time.

It is not necessary to post daily. You can make a weekly posting plan. It is also depends on that which platform you are using. In my opinion consistency is better then quantity. If you follow the daily posting strategy I suggest that 2 to 3 post are enough. If you are posting short and long both videos then is suggest you to post 2 shorts on daily basis and 2 long videos on weekly bases. This might be better strategy because you can make your quality better, and also can manage quantity.

It depends on your platform. But I recommend focusing on quality rather than quantity of spam, and you can research optimal posting times and analyze when your audience primarily uses the platform to optimize your posting strategy.
