how many posts can i make before

im considering a spam blog, and is there a way to mass upload articles?

Depends on who you talk to. Some people will call any blog with ten posts or more a day a spam blog. The question is what do you think is a splog. Personally if I have a blog and it accomplishes my goals then I don't really care what anyone else thinks. There is a product around here for download somewhere Poster-Perodic that will allow you to post hundreds of posts and it will drip them in to publsihed status on a schedule you set up.

Depends on the type of your blog. I have a gaming and other entertainment site with over 15k posts.

there is many was here is two. One is unique article wizard the other is to use autoblogged. There are plenty of other scrapper tools....
