Perhaps for older generation is ok, my mother uses a viber she is 57.
But it is unbalanced, few features to use, and very strange limits. They were banned channels because people sent spam from them. It's easier for viber to remove the function than to avoid spam lol

I have been using Telegram for a couple of years. I think it does a loooot of things right compared to WhatsApp for example. As someone who does a lot of photoshop work I want to lose my mind when an app scales my pictures down or compresses them ruining quality. With Telegram, you can send completely uncompressed images, or compress them normally in case you want to save data.

I think that's a very underrated feature of Telegram.

Telegram is most used used for crypto communities and internet marketing as it's light yet very complex and open source for bots.

On the other side viber is for little girls my friend.

I prefer using telegram but the only drawback is not many people use it and that makes it difficult for me
