Why do people answer some questions but not the serious ones?

I think they mean its not a specific number, its totally down to the type of ebook you are supplying.

How many pages do you think an ebook entitled "next weeks winning lottery numbers - guaranteed" will have

Just 1 page with the winning numbers on - it does the trick

What type of niche / guide were you wanting a broader number for?

15 pages quite enough to justify $7 product. Content must be up to the price though, if you don't want to deal with the refunds all day long.

Depends on the niche. For a $10 or so eBook, I'd probably put in about 15-20 pages of info.
