How many of you still earning from Autoblogs? Whats your earnings?
Autoblogs are almost death!
I skipped that boat completely, I believe the only REAL success, long term, is large content driven websites. But short term, I do many of my own online and offline blackhat methods.
The best way of making money I found is, mixing two ideas together...
I have a few autoblogs and no money but they are pures spammy autoblogs. I need to rethink it a little. I think that to make an autoblog work now you have to do alot of customization, and actually proofread. Maybe not create your own content but go through it and make it right. Then you use the autoblog to give you your templates. Maybe outsource the article rewriting.
Try 10 autoblogs, with 10 articles per week. Then take the time to go and rewrite just ten articles a day. In 10 days youll have 10 blogs with 10 keyword rich, nice articles. You can also outsouce the rewriting.
Then depending on the keywords go and do some backlink blasts. You can get 10000 backlinks for 5 bucks so spend 50 dollars and get backlinks for them all.
THen IF you start to make money off of them just pay for some articles. There are cheap article writing services here at BHW.
Hope this helps.
Adsense banned my autoblog because of low value content, but Google didn't de-list it. They also warned me about my other sites. I have to use other monetization methods.
I plan on revamping my autoblogs, gonna try to write orig content posts on them from now on, with the existing robot posts. Trying to see if capitalizing on the shear number of posts on the site now with new orig content posts will do something there, what do you guys think?
I think there is still some money in the autoblogs if you target the niche correctly. You can self-host the autoblog too which doesn't get it banned so quickly. It's a pain to work hard and get it removed by Wordpress etc.
I am trying to start working with autoblogs but it seems that some people actually still make money with them, but i guess they would not reveal their secrets
Yea wish someone would post some info on this so I can try to revitalize my AB's
Autoblog is no longer working like it used to. And just as ardley216 said above, i too believe that the investing time and money on a large content rich website would be a more safe bet.
I think people need to start looking at auto blogs differently. I have created an AB in a very specific niche. I am using it purely as a method to generate leads. Nothing more nothing less. In fact I have edited the template to add a web form and an ad to my money site. I have a pop up and I am using exit splash when they leave. In a little less than two weeks I have 6 new leads.
Typically my lead cost is $2-$5 per lead base on other paid methods. This cost me $7.49 (for the domain) and I am already profitable.
My auto blog is garbage. Unreadable content and to be honest it started out as a test before I paid money for a good scraper that would use good content.
Start looking at things differently and you'll be impressed what you can do with it.
I just started working with Autoblogs and while I believe that they aren't what they used to be - they can still be useful. I'm currently combining autoblogging with incentive marketing and the results are interesting.
Autoblogs work just fine. Depends what you call autoblog of course
Site with million subdomains doing 500 posts per hour will not work anymore i guess.
lol - there's plenty of people making cash autoblogging.
But each site needs a lot of attention to it, i.e the right seo, the right plugins etc.
The days of throwing up shitting sites are beginning to fade. Add value and quality to your autoblogs and you'll give yourself half a chance.
Why to buy it? There's "free trial" available. And wp-robot does it's job
how come you say that? i was thinking of getting it?
Wait can you get banned from adsense because you use it on a autoblog?
I am starting one today, and I am going to try some different things with it. Maybe getting traffic to the autoblog and making a nav menu with redirects to advertisers, your main site, affiliate products etc. Will work?
still earning,but not much
So we are zombies...
Autoblogs were generally unsuccessful. That is not a derivation of today. Now what counts is finding a trick and making google love that like her own child.
IMHO, there are so many things that are available to be used as bases for creating huge autoblogs which google accept as pure normal sites.
