    Hi,

Just wondering if its possible to start making decent profits by selling out supplements and smart pills on the internet?

Just as an FYI - I've launced my website a few months ago. I am looking to build out organic traffic to rank at google queries. Total sales/commissions for 2 months - ONE.

What traffic source do you use to improve sales of your product?

    Thanks,
    M

You have to go all into this. Combine marketing channels. Facebook ads, email marketing, retargeting ads.

Do you sell affiliate for comission or you created your own vitamin/supplement?

Hi, I run an affiliate for comission fees. The nootropic supplements I sell are produced by well known US and UK manufacturers. I believe SEO is what drives quality and organic traffic as well as get more engagement on this. Never tried FB ads but thinking of email marketing someday in future.

Does anyone get a quality and unique visitor from non-tier 1 traffic?

    Thanks,
    M

    BHW - of course.

Back in the mid-late 90's Online pharma was my first real internet business - not turning this into a journey thread - but is it still possible to make decent profits? Yes - but you need to define a few things first:

    1. Decent Profits - You need to define that, in most cities in the US or UK £/$ 100-200k buys a "Decent" house. But in areas of London it won't buy you a parking space.

    2. Supply - are you an affiliate, manufacturer or importer and can you guarantee supply when you turn up the organic ratchet whilst keeping your existing customers happy?

    3. Hardwork - are you willing to put the hours in? It's going to take up ALL your time. 20 hour days for months on end was what it took back then to get it off the ground. Do you have a backstop of cash and support to get you there?

    4. Legal - you need decent lawyers that understand both the laws in your country and laws in the country you're shipping to. For us the largest Nootropic market was the US hands down so we focussed there. By helping the user understand their own laws, one of our most profitable documents was the 3 month right to import personal supply. It had nothing to do with Nootropics but helped people understand that you're not just in it for the money, you're trying to help..

    5. Accountants - See Legal - get a good one. BUT make sure you understand the numbers yourself.

    6. Be ahead of the curve, as mentioned above I started in the 90's (yep I'm that old!) but where is voice (for example) in the nootropics industry at the moment? Don't forget we live in a bubble in BHW and the internet marketing industry as a whole. Most people don't even care about how a product gets in front of them just that it does, look to others and see how you can improve.

    7. Run affiliate programs/influencer marketing programs and pay on time, suck it up and don't worry about the pennies. If an affiliate is bringing you thousands, don't worry about the penny refunds that may come from a chargeback.

My 2 cents - start out with an affiliate program first, get your funnels sorted whilst making money. THEN add the massive complications of supply, laws and accounting that come with running your own shop (physical or virtual).

The above isn't gospel it's just my 2 cents whilst waiting for a cron to finish. ;)

In every niche you can make "decent" money if you're working hard enough. However pharma and nootropics are quite competitive ones.
The question is why you chose this niche: If you are really into the subject and can for example write articles inkstand of outsourcing them thus reducing costs then it's great.
But if your logic was pharma is making big money = blog will make big money, then you may be disappointed.

Don't get me wrong - It's possible to make money - tons of it, but there are o lot of small niches that are less competitive and bring much faster results :)

More than likely, as with everything, there is money to be made.

But, it is a competitive field.

So you will need a fat wallet.

Very good point thanks. When it comes to competitive fields usually we presume that our clients are solvent and can pay for the products (at least for my view point). I launched my first affiliate in 2017 with a penny stock signal service which I thought had a massive potential in terms of profits and utility. I proactively did SEO and ranked top 10 within 7 months. However, 90% of all prospective clients turned out to be insolvent - I had hop links massively clicked but only a few clients out of the entire population had proceeded futher and paid for the service. All the time, efforts, money and I spent on this were not worth the outcome I had afterwards. I am giving myself a try with this new pharma business to see if patience, knowledge and experience can really pay off.

Thanks, this is exactly what I am struggling to achieve moving forward. It's gonna be tough going though given the latest google algorithm update. Neither have my site been affected nor an orgranic traffic has gone up since the release but lets wait until the real change comes up.

LATEST SALES REPORT: 3 sales were made since the launch in April - will be pushing for more. Thinking of other traffic sources (like email marketing or social media) given the June 3rd code release by Google.

I always wanted to do that, but just never started, it's that simple really. I wanted to try bodybuilding.com, how do they convert ? Damn, I even wanted some amazon products within that niche. First few sales in a few months time = totally good and correct result.

hi, I would say it takes up most of your time and not that simple as it seems. but you can always give it a try - the question is how long will you stay in game.

FYI - I ordered a press release package to see if I can make some sales off it. Please keep you updated!
