    Hi,

AS the title says how many of you maintain a diary and write down all the passwords of email accounts, paypal accounts, website admin panel's passwords, hosting account username and passwords etc...

Or if you are paranoid, http://www.keepassx.org/

Either method is going to be safer, more portable, and I assure you, I can keep backups of both much easier and more current than your diary.

I just let FireFox remember my passwords. When I get a new computer I just use the https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/password-exporter/ addon to transfer all my login and passwords.

    I use www.lastpass.com plugin w/ a www.yubico.com (Yubikey VIP)

All my bank accounts and PayPal accounts each utilize a separate Card/Device/Cell Phone to generate a random one-time pass code.

I also use KeyScrambler by QFX Software & Avast AntiVirus.

To further security, I use NoScript, AdBlock+, Spyware Blaster, CCleaner.

For sensitive data I generally store that in a Hidden True Crypt volume, AES/TwoFish/Serpent (one partition) and reverse order for the (second volume) and WhirlPool Hash Algorithm.

I also have a Night Vision camera in the room so I can get email alerts (which I also can access via my cell phone) if anyone enters the room where my setup is while I'm away.

As you can see... I keep my shit on lockdown! lol :)

Well actually I do write them in a diary and try to memorize them as well. Although a lot of people save them in txt/excel files or other forms of digital storage but there is always a risk of losing them through data corruption. I started maintaining a diary for passwords only when my hard disk got corrupted causing me to lose a lot of valuable information that was not backed up and anywhere else and the data could not be recovered from the disc even by the data recovery pros.

I don't share passwords normally, change them before or after being forced to share.
In this world there are no true friends, nobody can be trusted. Some say you should trust your wife/GF but I never hear that when the relationship turns to dust...

No comments on how I store them. :p I will say it could use some improvement as I recently found out when my PC broke down...
