Just curious, as this is my main hobby (in my heart, even over IM, but unfortunately the latter gets much more time attributed to it, lol).

I play guitar for about 3 years, self taught, half classically trained. I also study in sound engineering, I use Ableton Live currently, but I want to expand to Reason and really any other DAW, to see what's best for me.

Music is the universal shit, and it's the most rewarding thing to be involved in, IMO.

    I play the piano,rap/sing

I use Pro tools LE 8 for recording and FL studio 10 for production

I really got into IM to fund my music career without getting a real job

Hahah, nice dude. That's pretty much in essence exactly what I'm doing. I've never used Pro Tools, what does it have over all the others that makes it such an industry standard?

I started teaching myself to play piano/keyboard a couple of years ago. Can play a couple of intermediate compositions but can never find the time to practice!

Word, I never learned really any songs on guitar or anything, I just learned theory and improvised off that. WAY harder and more discouraging road, but worth it in the longrun I think.

I need to get protools, I think it's like unpiratable though lol.
