Me and my team are going to release some software and scripts. Some free, some not. Either way i want to hear your thoughts.

How many % of uniqueness is needed for an article to be ranked in google and not considered duplicate content?
I have my own thoughts but i want to be sure th others will be happy with what we do also.
And please no answers like 100% :) also when u give answer please say why [maybe from your previous actions or so].

    Thanx ;)

I have always used 35% and have not had a problem.

Yeah I try and go for 35%. It really depends on how many times you are using the same article (If you are spinning it).

It's not only content that counts either. Formatting is also taken into consideration.

I've only ever used DupeFree and I keep my articles to around %18 - %22. I've had around %90 eventually indexed when I keep it between these numbers.

I just translate mine a few times then run them through Dragon Speak using my own words. Takes 10 minutes per article or so. From finding the article, translating it a few times, sounding it out and then reading it over

I dont think there is a magic percentage figure. That would be too easy. I rewrote an article using the Best Spinner to make it over 50% unique and submitted to Ezine Articles. Well, I tried to submit, but Ezine recognised immediately it was dupe content and prevented me. If Ezine can spot my spun efforts, I'm pretty sure Google can too.

You always try to go for the maximum in terms of how much % you should make content unique. I wouldn't just limit at 35%. The more, the better.
